Site waste management plans.
Plan your project waste from real data, not estimates. Camio builds your site waste management plan from the audit inventory and tracks each stream as it leaves site.

What site waste management plan is.
A site waste management plan sets out the types and quantities of waste a project will produce and how each will be reused, recycled or disposed of. It is updated as the work progresses and closed out at the end with actual figures.
The best plans start from a pre-demolition audit or pre-refurbishment audit, so quantities are measured rather than guessed.
- Waste streams and quantities from audit data
- A reuse or recycling route for each stream
Why it matters.
SWMPs are no longer a legal requirement in England, but they are still expected by BREEAM (as a resource management plan under Wst 01), by many planning conditions and by clients with diversion targets.
A plan is only as good as its data. Tracking actual waste against the plan is what turns it from a document into evidence.

The Camio difference
Camio site waste management plans.
Camio builds the plan from the audit inventory, so each waste stream has measured quantities and a named route from day one.
As items and materials leave site, their destinations are recorded in Camio, so updating and closing out the plan is a report rather than a chase for paperwork.

Every asset, every life
Most audits describe a building on one day. Camio follows every asset for life.
Each item keeps its record through every life, every location and every owner. That is what makes Camio the natural fit for BREEAM In-Use, SKA and estates where assets move between projects again and again.

Reuse, refurbishment and resale are recorded against the same item, so carbon savings add up over every life.
Multiple locations
Moves between floors, buildings and projects are tracked, so the inventory always shows where things really are.
Multiple owners
Items keep their history when they change hands, from landlord to tenant to buyer, across your whole estate.

It helps to include
- The site address and approximate floor area (GIA)
- The audit you need, or the planning, BREEAM, GLA or SKA requirement it is for
- Your programme: when you need the report and when strip-out or demolition starts
- Drawings, asbestos surveys or previous audits, if you have them

Questions we are often asked
Are site waste management plans still required?
They are no longer a legal requirement in England, but BREEAM, many planning conditions and many clients still ask for one.
Can you build the plan from an existing audit?
Yes. If you already have a Camio audit, the plan is built from that inventory.
How do you track actual waste?
Destinations are recorded in Camio as items and materials leave site, so the plan can be updated and closed out from live data.
