Furniture and FF&E carbon audits.
Know what you own, where it is and what it is worth in carbon. A furniture and FF&E audit gives you an item-level baseline for reporting and a live inventory for reuse across your estate.

What is a furniture and ff&e carbon audit?
A furniture and FF&E carbon audit records every item of furniture, fixtures and equipment in a building or across an estate, with its type, condition, location and embodied carbon.
It is the starting point for reusing what you already own before buying new, and it pairs naturally with a pre-refurbishment audit ahead of a fit-out or move.
- Item-level condition, location and photos
- An embodied carbon value for every item
Why you need a furniture and ff&e carbon audit.
Furniture is one of the largest and least measured sources of embodied carbon in a workplace. Scope 3 reporting under the GHG Protocol asks you to account for capital goods, and investors and occupiers increasingly expect real numbers rather than estimates.
Most organisations also own far more than they realise. An accurate inventory means surplus can be moved to where it is needed, instead of new furniture being bought while good stock sits in storage.

The Camio difference
Camio furniture and FF&E audits.
Our auditors capture each item in the Camio app, where AI identifies it, records its dimensions and calculates its embodied carbon. Items are tagged to their floor and room, so the inventory matches what is really there.
Camio then keeps the inventory live. As items move between floors, buildings and owners, their records go with them, so your baseline becomes an ongoing account of reuse and carbon saved.

Deliverables
Item-level inventory
Every item with type, condition, location and photos.
Carbon baseline
Embodied carbon by item, floor and building for scope 3 reporting.
Surplus and reuse view
What is surplus, where it is and where it could go next.
Live estate inventory
An inventory that follows items across moves and owners.

Every asset, every life
Most audits describe a building on one day. Camio follows every asset for life.
Each item keeps its record through every life, every location and every owner. That is what makes Camio the natural fit for BREEAM In-Use, SKA and estates where assets move between projects again and again.

Multiple lives
Reuse, refurbishment and resale are recorded against the same item, so carbon savings add up over every life.
Multiple locations
Moves between floors, buildings and projects are tracked, so the inventory always shows where things really are.
Multiple owners
Items keep their history when they change hands, from landlord to tenant to buyer, across your whole estate.

Questions we are often asked
How is embodied carbon calculated for each item?
Each item is identified and its materials and weight estimated, then matched to embodied carbon factors. Our auditors check the results. [Add a line on data sources and methodology.]
Can you audit a whole estate, not just one building?
Yes. Each building is captured into the same inventory, so you can report across the estate and move items between sites.
What happens after the audit?
The inventory stays live in Camio. You can plan moves, list surplus for reuse or resale, and report on carbon saved as items find new homes.
